"Greatest" being subjective to personal taste - this great meatloaf recipe is flavorful and moist. It is best prepared on a wood fired oven or grill, giving it a delightful caramelized crust.
Dissolve the Bouillon Cubes in water.
In a large bowl, beat the egg lightly to mix the yolk in with the whites.
Add spices, bread crumbs, mustard and ketchup to the egg bowl and gently mix.
Add in the bouillon water and onion. Mix well.
Add the beef, or other ground meat being used. Mix lightly, but thoroughly.
Form the entire mixture into a loaf on a baking sheet or broiling pan. Be sure not to compress the meat, as this will make the meatloaf tough.
Bake uncovered at 375F for about 75 minutes, until the inside temperature reaches 170F.
